The New Golf BlueMotion: Unbeatable Economy

The new Golf BlueMotion: unbeatable economy
Top of the class: with an average fuel consumption of 3.8 litres per 100 kilometres the new Golf BlueMotion is the first vehicle in its segment to fall below the magic threshold of 4.0 litres. Similarly, CO2 emissions have dropped to 99 g/km – also unrivalled in this class. The design study, which has just been introduced in Iceland, is powered by a new common rail turbodiesel engine with an output of 77 kW (105 hp), which delivers its maximum torque of 250 Newton metres from as low as 2,000 rpm.
